How to change or set your default printer on Windows 7

Textual Instructions:

1. Click on the Start Menu, and select Devices and Printers.

Start > Devices and Printers


2. Find the printer you want to use as your default, right-click it, then select Set as default printer.

If you are using an IOD-Owned computer, you should have the following printers installed automatically:

  • IOD_CONCORD_BW2 on - The Large Concord Black and White Xerox Printer
  • IOD_Concord_Color on - The Large Concord Color Xerox Printer
  • IOD_Concord_PDC on - The Concord Color Xerox Printer in Maryann Allsop's Office (in the PDC)
  • IOD_Pettee_XWC7535 on baxter - The Xerox Printer in Pettee Hall
  • IOD_WestEdge_XWC7556 on baxter - The Xerox Printer in Durham/West Edge
